Toolbox utilities

The Toolbox tab is a set of read-only diagnostics for the RUCKUS APs you administer. Every tool reads live APs over SSHread-only, nothing on the AP is changed.

Every tool needs at least one reachable AP over SSH. The APs come from either a selected RUCKUS One venue or manual AP IPs — either source works; RUCKUS One is not required. With no gear connected, the tools can’t run, so the Toolbox instead shows See sample results — a gallery of bundled screenshots of the tools in use.

Tools come in two shapes: fleet tools run across every connected AP at once; per-AP tools ask you to pick one AP first (or go straight in if there’s only one).

Path & DNS doctorFleetPings the gateway and internet, times DNS, and traces the path — answering “is it the Wi-Fi or the uplink?”
