Emergency dispatch
For urgent work, a calendar is the wrong tool. When the AI decides a call is an emergency it runs your trade’s safety script first, then pages you by text and runs an accept/pass loop until someone owns the job.
The whole point is speed: the customer with a burst pipe is calling three numbers, and the first honest answer wins.
The dispatch text
Section titled “The dispatch text”You get a text like:
URGENT from [caller name] [caller phone]: [reason]. Reply 1 to accept, 2 to pass, or your ETA in minutes (e.g.
35). Text DONE when finished.
Reply keywords
Section titled “Reply keywords”| Reply | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1 | You accept. The caller is texted that you’re on it. You’ll be asked for an ETA. |
| 2 | You pass. The job moves on to the next contact, if you have one. |
| a number | Sets your ETA in minutes. The caller is told the real number you gave — not an invented one. |
| DONE | Marks the job finished. |
| ACK | Acknowledges an escalation alert, when one has been sent. |
Replies are plain SMS. You don’t need to open the dashboard, though you can acknowledge and manage dispatches there too, under Dispatches.
Offer timeouts and escalation
Section titled “Offer timeouts and escalation”Settings → Emergency Dispatch controls the timing:
- Dispatch alert phone — where urgent pages go, if different from your main number.
- Offer timeout (minutes per leg) — how long each contact has to answer before the offer moves on.
- Backup contact — who gets the job when you don’t.
- Escalation re-alert window — how long before an unacknowledged emergency alerts again.
If nobody accepts, the dispatch is marked unreachable rather than quietly dropped, and you get an escalation alert that repeats until acknowledged.
Honest ETAs only
Section titled “Honest ETAs only”The AI will never promise the customer an arrival time you didn’t give. Before you provide an ETA it tells the caller the truth — that you’re being reached right now — instead of inventing “within the hour.” A fake ETA is the fastest way to lose a customer permanently, so the product refuses to produce one.
The same applies to queueing: if you’re already on a job, the caller is told where they honestly stand.
Location pins
Section titled “Location pins”For jobs where the address is the hard part — a boat, a dock, a car on the shoulder — the caller can be asked for a location pin, which lands on the dispatch record.
Availability by plan
Section titled “Availability by plan”Emergency dispatch, urgent_dispatch, and every safety script ship on every
plan. Trust features are never tier-gated. See
