Plans and billing
StrandCalls is flat-rate. You pay a fixed monthly price and answer as many calls as come in. There is no minute bucket, no overage bill, and no per-booking success fee.
$149/mo, flat and unlimited
Section titled “$149/mo, flat and unlimited”The core plan is $149/mo, flat, with unlimited inbound calls. Everything that makes the phone answered well is included:
- Unlimited inbound answering, booking, and message-taking
- The built-in calendar, availability engine, and optional Google Calendar sync
- Appointment reminders with press-1-confirm and live AI rebooking
- Owner assistant mode
- Zones and zone-day scheduling
- Every safety script and emergency dispatch
- Caller history, recordings, transcripts, summaries, and lead quality
- SMS confirmations, follow-ups, and the customer portal
- Photo intake by MMS
- Deposits by SMS
- Service-catalog price quoting
- One forwarded business number
Deposits and catalog quoting are turned on per account in their own settings — they’re available on any plan, not gated behind an upgrade.
The Growth plan
Section titled “The Growth plan”Growth is the higher-priced tier. It unlocks the features that generate repeat revenue rather than just handle calls:
These three features check for the Growth plan before they’ll run — everything else in the list above works on the flat plan. For the current Growth price, see the Billing screen in your dashboard or strandcalls.com.
What is never metered
Section titled “What is never metered”On any plan, forever:
- Inbound answering — minutes, calls, bookings, messages taken.
- Emergency escalation and safety scripts.
- Owner assistant calls.
- Appointment reminders and caller-facing SMS — confirmations, follow-ups, missed-call text-back.
- No per-booking success fees.
The single volume-shaped edge is outbound marketing campaign SMS, which is owner-initiated rather than call-driven and is bounded by per-campaign and account-wide daily send caps that you control.
There is a fair-use clause in the Terms for genuine edge cases — reselling the service, or routing call-center overflow through it. It does not apply to normal contractor volume, however busy your season gets.
Second business line
Section titled “Second business line”Running a second, separate business — say a main number and a second LLC? That’s a second seat at the same rate, not a discounted add-on — each business gets its own number, greeting, calendar, catalog, and caller history. Forwarding one main number with an after-hours line or internal extensions into the same subscription is normal use and counts as one seat. If you’re not sure which you have, contact support.
Managing your subscription
Section titled “Managing your subscription”Billing in the dashboard shows your plan, payment method, invoices, and subscription status. Payments are handled by Stripe.
To change plans, update a card, or cancel, use the Billing screen. If something looks wrong on an invoice, contact support rather than disputing it with your bank — it’s almost always faster to fix.
