Sharing boards
A view-only link shows one board, live, to anyone who has it, without signing in — for a NOC wall, a TV in the office, or a colleague outside your organisation. They can’t change the board or see anything else. Revoke the link and it stops at once.
How do I create a link?
Section titled “How do I create a link?”Organisation admins see a Share button on the board page.
- Open the board and click Share. The View-only links panel opens.
- Give the link a Label (optional, e.g. NOC wall 2) so you can tell your links apart later.
- Choose when it Expires: Never, 1 day, 30 days or 1 year.
- Click Create link, then Copy. The link is shown once; if you lose it, create another.
The link looks like https://sz-mcp.lanpulse.com/share/<board>#szbv_…. The part
after # is the key: browsers never send it to a server, so it stays out of
access logs and Referer headers. A link copied without it opens a page saying
it is incomplete.
What does a viewer see?
Section titled “What does a viewer see?”The board in kiosk mode — no navigation, no editing — marked view-only. It updates live, the same way the signed-in page does. A viewer can change the board’s variable dropdowns (which only changes their own view). They cannot see the list of boards, other boards, alerts beyond the board’s own panels, or anything else in SZ-MCP, and the link reveals no user ids.
When a link is revoked or has expired, the page stops loading the board and says so instead.
How do I revoke a link?
Section titled “How do I revoke a link?”In the View-only links panel, each link shows its label, the start of its key, when it was created, when it expires and when it was last used. Click Revoke and confirm: screens showing it stop updating.
Deleting a board — on the board list or through Claude — deletes all its links too.
What limits apply?
Section titled “What limits apply?”| Limit | Value |

| Links per organisation | 50 |
| Requests per link | 240 per minute (enough for several screens on one link) |
| Failed link checks per client IP | 20 per minute |
